 Brompton launched the Wheels For Hereos Crowdfunder back in April with the ambition to raise enough funds for 1000 NHS bikes. So far, we have been able to produce 500 bike that are already being used by NHS staff, we more on the way.

The take up of our initial offer of bikes to the NHS has been truly incredible and far beyond our expectations with demand still far outweighing availability with over 2,000 NHS staff signed up to the scheme to date. 

Wheels For Heroes will culminate through sport stars (including Chris Froome, Kevin Pietersen and many more) taking part in a virtual race live on Sky to raise further for the cause – which will mean we can put permanent docks into hospital trusts for staff to support the permanent legacy of the initiative.  Hear Kevin Pietersen explain all in his own words here.
